Instructions
Highlight all the code (not the word 'Code'), right-click on the highlighted code text and select 'copy' from the menu.
Open Notepad and right-click in document - select 'paste'. Save the code in the same folder as your signature and call it signature.htm (not .txt).
The red text is editable. Make sure you type the name of your signature exactly - (eg. cat.gif). Type any salutations, etc. divided by the <br> tag - this puts each one on a new line. If you want the animated signature only, you must delete the red text and <br> tag that immediately follows it. Save but don't close your signature.htm file.
Open Outlook Express. Go to Tools/Options/Signatures and click the New button, Rename it if you like. In Edit Signature - choose File then browse to your signature.htm file. Highlight the file path that appears in the File box, right-click and select copy. Go back to your signature.htm file and paste the path straight after the semicolon - replacing the red text. Replace the last part of the path (signature.htm) with your name.gif. Save and close the file. Go back to the outlook signature dialogue, highlight your new signature and click the Set as Default button. OK out of the dialogue and your done!
Doesn't work?
1 - Make sure you have not changed any of the code or formatting.
2 - Make sure that both your name.gif file and your signature.htm file are stored in the same folder on your hard drive..
3 - Make sure
that in Tools/Options/Send - the send using HTML radial button is selected.
